About Us
The mission of the Cowboy Fellowship of Port Lavaca is to reach the lost and unchurched people in the Western Culture and all cultures, with the gospel of Jesus Christ and provide a loving Church home where they can become more like Him.
We believe the Bible is the very Word of God and is to be our final authority in all matters of faith and life. We believe in one God that exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died to save us from our sins. We believe that folks are saved by Grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ alone. We believe that baptism is the means by which people are publicly professing their Faith in Christ and identify themselves with his death, burial, and resurrection. Cowboy Fellowship of Port Lavaca is an open, non-judgmental, Bible believing relevant community of believers accountable to God and each other, in order to grow in our faith and reach the western and rural culture with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Cowboy Fellowship is designed to be a safe welcoming environment for those unaccustomed to attending church.
